MusicEx is an indoor live music experience designed to engage, excite, and captivate music lovers by giving them the opportunity to browse products, attend educational sessions led by the likes of Yvonne Chaka Chaka and The David Gresham Record Company. Enjoy live performances from major South African artists ,such as Jesse Clegg, and share their passion for music with others.
The event will feature various exhibitors that speak to the different facets of music creation and enjoyment. The exhibition is for novices and experienced musos alike.
Homegrown South African talent in the different live music areas will be showcased such as buskers in Festival Lane, an intimate “unplugged” experience in the music lounge, big names on the main stage and the added excitement of the opportunity for homegrown, local talent will have the opportunity to battle it out to be the top talent and walk away with a substantial cash prize and a Developmental Record Deal from David Gresham Records.
